Im running 20x16 bass, 10x7 rack tom and 14x14 floor tom. Feels more ergonomic than my old 22" pearl set i had. Also went with a Gretsch kit this time with Meinl cymbals. My old pearl kit had ziligian cymbals, so complete change of pace.

I have an '05 Superstar Custom kit with 12" & 13" rack toms on a 22" kick drum, no problems tuning, they sound great!!!

Alesis are ok. I would take Roland or DWe anyday of the week. Alesis has one big problem. Their customer support and their mesh heads seem to be a problem.

When your familiar with the play back

My module freezes and locks up constantly. Two days new. Anyone else having this issue? I've tried new power sources, headphones, no headphones, no wifi, wifi, bluetooth, no bluetooth, factory reset, settings reset, I made sure the firmware was up-to-date.. I've tried different preset drum settings.. The damn module freezes and I have to unplug it to reset it.. I can't play longer than 5 minutes on it.. Very dissapointed

Im here because I googled why do I hate 13 inch toms so much LOL I have a 12x9 and 16x14 Floor tom 4 piece set up! Adams entire rant about my favourite tom the 12 is how I feel about 13's

I'm at the point in my life where I'm not gigging and, really, I'm hardly playing the amount I want b/c of the noise I'm creating for those around me. So, I've been toying with the idea of selling my acoustic kit and purchasing an e-kit. #1 - Is this a stupid idea and I'll be kicking myself? :D I know the answer is yes. ha. #2 - I've read a lot that's great about this kit! I'm really looking for something that will give me sounds I like while helping me keep my chops up.

I played a 22" Pearl bass drum for years, but I never liked how high my toms sat. Just bought a Gretsch catalina maple with a 20" x 16" and can't wait to see the difference in tom placement.

Helps me with a blister in my right hand index finger. Helps me hold the sticks as I they seem to slip a bit during playing caused by sweat. But I don't play with brand gloves. I tried with garden gloves (I'm dead serious :D). Priced at 5,90€ a pair they feel excellent in my hand. Cut the fingers between first and second joint and love em. :D Am I real good player? No. I just like playing with them.

I agree for 90% of the drummers out there it's probably worthless. I was in an accident a few years and and shattered several parts of both my arms. I now have extensive nerve damage and drop sticks constantly. Drumming is more physical therapy for me now, but gloves help me keep sticks in my hands.

I can't understand drummers saying they can't get the placement right,with a 20/22" bssz drum,my first big kit had 22" with a 14x12,next kit was 26" with a 15"x15" and never had problems

Excellent choices. I've already been thinking about a few of these cymbals for my own kit, but was concerned the extra dry cymbals wouldn't work for rock. They just have a one of a kind sound that I love.

U need to lift the front of your bassdrum up a little, your beaters will hit drum at 90 degrees, this will help alot.

How does the hi-hat feel/respond compared to the Roland VH-14D...? Thats the only thing that im questioning... The rest of the kit and the sounds/module seems amazing :)
